 THIS IS OUR STORY : PCF –Tondo in Nine Years
Come May this year, Praise Christian Fellowship (PCF) –Tondo, Manila will celebrate its eight birthday. In all of these years we have witnessed the progress that continually occurs here, such as our church sanctuary’s walls and ceilings becoming fully-furnished and the upcoming installation of an air-conditioning system. Not only that we see physical changes, we have also grown in number as manifested by the new faces we see each worship service. In addition, we opened various ministries where everyone can now put into use the gifts God has richly given us. All of these are the fruits of countless prayers and insurmountable faith of the people who committed their lives in the service of God. Before we continue our journey, let us pause and look back at when and where and how our rich story as a family began.

 Humble Beginnings
On the first week of June 2001, with no official name, no permanent place to meet, no musical instrument to use, and no formal system of administration our church was born. We started with only 50 members eagerly gathering to seek and worship God. Back then, worship services were held in a different place –at the second floor of our church elder Lilibeth Quijano’s Dental Clinic. The space was then small even for our number, yet despite the inconvenience people returned week after week. After a month, our church was officially named as Praise Christian Fellowship (PCF). While still on our formative years, we are blessed to have been under the supervision of Pastor Jose Danganan –the senior pastor of PCF Los Angeles. That was also the time when our beloved pastor Cirilo “Loi” Gatchalian was ordained as our head pastor. With these two anointed ministers to lead us, we kept on moving forward as a family. At present, PCF already has three daughter churches –one in Talavera, Nueva Ecija, one in Paranaque city, and another in Novaliches, Quezon city. These were lead by Pastors Boy Dela Cruz, Johnnel San Pedro, Mario “Sandy” San Diego, respectively. After only eight years, our number grew from 50 to around 500 members in PCF Tondo, while around 80 in each of our daughter church. This brings us to roughly 700 members in total.
